Linking Google Analytics to Blogger
Linking Google Analytics to a Blogger account is easier than you'd think. You don't even need to "speak" HTML. Both Google Analytics and Blogger (a company owned by Google) make it extremely easy to link one another. So if you are looking to track the performance of your blog or website on Blogger, follow these simple instructions:
- Log in to your Google Analytics page. If you don't have one yet, you can create one in a matter of minutes. This is also a free tool, so there really is no reason as to why you shouldn't make an account.
- Scroll down to "Admin" to access your account settings. Under "Property," select "Tracking Info."
- Select "Tracking Code" and simply copy the "Tracking ID" code on the top of the page.
- Open Blogger and select "Settings" on the lower left-hand bar. Select "Other."
- Go to "Google Analytics" and next to "Analytics Web Property ID" paste the tracking code from Google Analytics.
And just as easy as that, Google Analytics will begin to track the number of users, session duration, the percentage of devices used, and much more!
