What Are Social Media Manager Tools And Do You Need One?
We've established that a business' social media presence is important. Depending on your audience and goals, you may be using anywhere from one platform to 5+ different platforms. Creating content, sticking to a posting schedule, and keeping track of consumer interactions may be hard to do for one person without technology to aid this process. This is where Social Media Manager Tools come in handy. According to Tim Brookes of Zapier.com,
"Social media management tools allow you to manage your entire social media presence from a single interface."In other words, a social media management tool will make it easier for you to stay on top of your social media marketing game. To figure out if you need one ask yourself, "Do I want to make my experience of using social media for marketing easier?" If your answer is yes, then I strongly encourage you to explore your options for social media managers.
Options for Social Media Managers Tools
I have personally used 4 different tools for social media management featured below.
Hootsuite
Hootsuite is perhaps the most popular social media management tool for beginners. Hootsuite offers 3 paid plans and a free version (only 3 accounts can be added and a limit of 30 posts per month).
Hootsuite interface is easy to use, and the dashboards are highly customizable so you can choose exactly what it is you want to keep a track.
TweetDeck
TweetDeck is a special type of social media manager tool because it deals only with Twitter. TweetDeck is linked with the Twitter account you want to track, but you are able to link multiple accounts. TweetDeck offers the feature of social listening, scheduling Tweets, build collections, and manage your overall account. To learn how to use TweetDeck, follow this link: How to use TweetDeck.
Later
Similarly to TweetDeck, Later was created specifically for one social media platform: Instagram. Later allows users to manage up to 3 accounts for their free plan and allows only 30 posts to be scheduled per month. Later is an excellent choice for businesses that rely heavily on Instagram since this platform allows users to schedule Instagram Stories, upload more than one picture at a time, and schedule video content.
